VCE is the certificate education of Victoria, Australia, abbreviation of Victoria Certificate of Education. A diploma will award to students who successfully completed the Victorian University Foundation Program (high school). VCAA review and evaluate the test scores and awards them to VCE certification after they meet the requirements. As a five-star rate course in Australia, VCE is called the world’s four high school systems with A-level, IB and others. This certificate is recognized by many countries in the world. VCE course is offered in the 11^th and 12^th grades, which is equivalent to second and third year in Chinese high school.

The courses not only consistent with Chinese high school, includes math, history, labour, foreign language, biology, geography, physics, politics, sports, information technology etc. Also provide economics, accounting, design technology, food technology, psychology, environment science, literature, drama, health and human development which are more appropriate for students’ interests development. Students must pass four units’ English class (English EAL, English, English language, English literature, from easy to hard), with other 5 courses randomly (minimum 4, maximum 6). No compulsory courses except for English.

According to National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018, overseas students in Australia can transfer only if they accomplish official courses of at least half a year. Otherwise, the current school need to issue release letter and cancel COE. The Release Letter can only be applied with appropriate reason.

ATAR is abbreviations of “Australian Tertiary Admission Rank”, it is your final “Gaokao” result. ATAR is used to rank the academic achievements, to make better prediction for future learning. So ATRA is used to measure student learning achievement of 12^th grade and “Gaokao”. The range of ATAR is from 0.00 to 99.95, consist of two parts which is test score in the 12^th grade and HSC result. Both the grade and HSC results are related to the ranking.

Students applying for VCE only need to pay the VTAC system a processing fee online, but the processing fee have to pay in time, any overdue will have extra charge. If student in Victoria want to apply to a university in other state except for Victorian university, the processing fee for other state’s systems will need to be paid. Students can check VCE results via Vtac web. All student in 12^th grade will receive a VCE credit statement from VCAA, this statement will post to student’s home. But only student who apply for Victorian university and paid VTAC processing fee can receive ATAR statement letter by post.
