Subclass 300 (Temporary Residence) – Prospective Marriage Visa
This visa is available to those who are engaged to be married to an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen, or an eligible New Zealand Citizen. This pathway is for applicants who are outside of Australia.
Requirement:
• Be engaged to an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen.
• You and your fiance have met and are personally known to each other
• Marry your Australian partner within a nine-month period.
• Live in a spouse relationship together
• Submit the partner visa application onshore before the Prospective Marriage Visa expires.
Subclass 309/100 & Subclass 820/801 Partner Visa
There are 2 stages for partner visa, temporary visa and permanent visa.
You apply for the temporary and the permanent partner visas at the same time and only pay the application fee for the first stage. Additional documents may be required after 2 years.
